Dahlia Tuber Shop

A dahlia grows from a tuber which is a funny looking potato, instead of a seed. Planted in the spring around the last frost and you will have these beautiful flowers to enjoy at your own home. Learn about the specifics of each variety by clicking on the picture. If you dare to cut the stems and bring the blooms inside, you will be rewarded with more and more blooms throughout the season.

Shipping will occur on April 17th and 24th. Shipping costs will be based on the number of tubers ordered. There is always the option of picking up on the farm. More information can be found on the FAQ page under Dahlia Tuber Sale. Happy growing!

This is great in landscaping and as a cut flower.  It begins blooming early in the season and produces abundant steps all season long.  The petals are burgundy but range from a deep rich red to almost black.  Sometimes having both colors on a single bloom. The blooms are about 3 inches and the plant is short in stature but benefits from staking.

This prolific ball dahlia is a warm-hued apricot color that is clear as it opens. As it ages, the tips fade to creamy reminiscent of an orange sunrise. The blooms are 2 to 3-inches. The foliage is about 4-feet tall with the blooms extending to 5-feet.
